For those of you that read this blog with alarming frequency will know that I have a rather strange Aussie 'wanna be English' boss who crazily believed that Fruit cake with cheese is a traditional English dish. Those of you who read will recognise that I mocked and derided her for such a ludicrous suggestion.
But would you believe it, the bloody woman's right. I've received several messages informing me that they've heard of, seen, or........god forbid, even tried this ridiculous combination. The more I think about it, the more I seem to sound like Peter Kay.
"A cake........with cheese!?!"

Nick knows about the fruit cake with cheese thing! I thought he was making it up! I too was incredulous about such a riduculous combination of foods!
